The Dental Lounge accepts the Canadian Dental Care Plan. We are at 4140 Walker Rd, Unit 103, in Windsor, and we are accepting new patients.
We bill CDCP directly
You do not pay us and wait to be reimbursed. We submit the claim to Sun Life, who administer the plan, and they pay us directly.

- Cleanings and scaling
- Fillings
- Extractions
- Root canal treatment
- Dentures and denture repairs
The part people are not told
CDCP does not always cover the whole bill. The plan pays a set amount for each procedure, and there can be a co payment depending on your household income, and sometimes a difference between the plan fee and our fee.
We go through the numbers with you before we do the treatment, so you know what you are paying before you agree to it. If the difference is a problem, tell us and we will look at what else can be done.
If you are not sure whether you qualify
CDCP is a federal plan and eligibility is decided by the government, not by us. You apply through Canada.ca and Sun Life sends you a member card. Bring that card, or your member number, to your first visit.
If you have a card and are not sure what it covers, call us and we will look it up with you.
We also accept IFHP
We accept the Interim Federal Health Program, and we bill all major insurance plans directly.
